Science journalist
Claire Bugos
I’m a journalist covering science, health and the environment.
I built my foundation in researching and writing at Northwestern University, where I studied journalism and history.

My work spans service-oriented reporting on COVID-19 to features on the promise of therapeutic vaccines for cancer care.

I'm inspired by cross-disciplinary discoveries (kidney stone formations look just like hot springs!), how scientists muddle through the grey areas of genomics, the breakthrough drugs and devices that make us healthier, and the work to bring those tools to the people who need them most.
You can find me living, learning, and eating well in Brooklyn, NY
